It's been a hot minute, almost nine years since my last post. So let me re-introduce myself.
I moved half way around the world, away from the stench of those that keep their heads stuck in the sand. Distance has made my heart grow freer. I did not move to get away from it, quite rather the opposite. Uprooting and moving to another country is the hardest thing I've ever done, yet it's been the most rewarding. My heart, brain, and soul have been immensely opened in my new environment. I am grateful.
In the spirit of re-introducing myself, I am no longer focused on the past. (Many of my old posts were healing.) I am heavily focused on the hear and now. It's time to focus on the positive opportunities and blessing I have and to keep my eyes and attention open to seeing them daily.
